Strikers, 

As we enter this holiday season, I want to extend heartfelt wishes to each of you and your families. May you be healthy and well, and if anyone is facing challenges, we send healing thoughts and strength your way.

This is also a time to remember those less fortunate. May they find blessings along their journey, and may we be part of bringing light into their lives.

With that spirit of giving and gratitude, I’d like to share an idea I have discussed with others already. Many of you expressed the desire to make a greater impact in our community. One suggestion was to use a portion of the funds raised during our tournament to purchase toys for children this Christmas. These gifts could be distributed at shelters, hospitals, battered women’s shelters, and other places where they would bring joy and comfort.

To move forward, I ask for your agreement to redirect some of the funds we normally donate to Greenbriar toward this initiative. I’d also love for us to come together as a group to personally deliver these presents. In addition, we’ll need volunteers to help wrap the gifts.

Together, we can make this season brighter for those who need it most.
