Happy New Year, Strikers!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday season. From my family to yours, we wish you health, peace, and prosperity in 2026.

We had a great year in 2025 as an organization. We made some changes to our blitz format that allowed for more winners—such as playing all par 3s—and we explored the possibility of changing tee boxes. These adjustments helped keep things fresh and competitive.

I’m hopeful there are more ideas out there to help move us forward, so please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts. While change is never easy, there is no growth without change.

We also continued to get our name out in the community and were invited to give back to local children through the Haven Elementary School Wings Program, doing a program aptly named the Strikers Alternative to Violence Program. This is something we can all be proud of. We are still looking for volunteers to come in and interact with these children. 

I also want to extend continued prayers to those who lost loved ones in 2025. Please keep the Bloodworth family in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to navigate life without Blood.

Our first membership meeting of the year will be held on January 14, 2026, following the blitz at Crosswinds. Lunch will be served. One important item we need to discuss is where we will donate the funds generated from our tournament. I previously asked for suggestions and received only two—so please come to the meeting prepared with your ideas. Also, a reminder, membership dues are expected not later than Feb 15, 2026. Either myself or JC will start collecting them 

January  5 at Cherokee Rose.
