Strikers

Hope everyone is doing well. It’s been a while since I’ve reached out to the full group.

It's time that we get together as a group, and start to discuss our upcoming tournament. As members of the Strikers, each of us need to play a role in making OUR tournament a success. 

As you know, we have always asked members to pitch in in some way, whether its, helping  stuff bags, helping at the course, or more importantly, finding sponsors. I am working on a way to do some fund raising. When I joined the club, during tournament prep I was told that each member had to donate $250 in some way. Either through sponsorship or donation. This year I am working on a way for you to donation $0 personally, but be able to raise $100 for the club. I think that is a fair trade off. 

Now I know some of you are saying "well, I pay dues". And yes, you do. However, those dues help cover our expenses during the year and are not enough to put on a tournament. If we don't raise money, then we can't provide the proper necessities to put on a quaility tournament. 

With that being said, I would like to call a membership meeting on Wednesday May 20 after our round at Crosswinds. Lunch will be provided.
