Strikers,

As of today, 22 members have already renewed their dues. If you haven't done so yet, you have until February 28th to renew. You can either bring a check to the next blitz or conveniently Zelle your payment to JC at 912-660-5144.

As many of you know, I’ve been working on finding windbreakers for us to purchase. I’ve received approval on a "type" from several members, so the next step is to create a prototype. Once it’s ready, we’ll give everyone a chance to see it and approve it before we begin taking orders. As I’ve mentioned before, we’ll need to order a sufficient quantity to keep the price reasonable, and I’ll update you on that soon. There may be a need to put some money upfront. The club will front the money and will collect from the members who purchase items once they come in.

I’ve also received some feedback regarding the Strikers planning a golf getaway. There seems to be enough interest to move forward, so we’re going to explore this option. LB suggested the idea, and I’m hoping he’ll take the lead on the research. I’d like to involve two others in this "committee" to support him in the process. If you’re interested in helping, please reach out to either him or me.

I also heard from someone who recently played at Parris Island, and they mentioned that the course is in excellent condition. I’ve always heard great things about it, and as the weather improves, we’ll look to schedule a blitz there. If anyone has other course suggestions, please feel free to let me know.
